This webpage carries a paper entitled “The educated blogger: Using weblogs to promote literacy in the classroom”. It investigates how to integrate blogs in the process of doing storytelling and interactive tasks. The author thinks that blogs can help to enhance students’ literacy by creating an on-line opportunity for collaborative learning. Besides, he also gives some practical examples regarding how to set up and use blogs in classroom. The author, David Huffaker, holds a Master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University, and begins a Doctoral program in Media, Technology and Society at Northwestern University in Fall 2004.First Monday, the homepage of the paper, is one of the first openly accessible, peer–reviewed journals on the Internet.
